We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Inventory Analyst to manage our Spare Parts portfolio. This is a full time permanent position located in Braeside.

What does the role involve?

• Manage and coordinate the national inventory planning activities of the spare parts portfolio
• Conduct analytical forecasting activities, including variable sales, product trends etc
• Prepare reports relating to portfolio performance, variance forecasts and inventory stock targets
• Manage inventory, slow moving stock, quarantined items and obsolete stock
• Purchase spare parts from internal & external suppliers ensuring inventory replenishment to the warehouse is at appropriate stock levels
• Prepare shipping plans and forward purchase orders
• Work closely with the spare parts Product Manager and the Service Team to ensure adequate support to the After Sales Market
• Provide assistance and support to key stakeholders as required
• Maintain relationships with key stakeholders including Sales, Marketing and Warehouse

Who are we looking for?

• Proven experience in spare parts inventory management within warehousing/transport operations or a related field
• Strong organisational skills managing multiple and diverse tasks
• The ability to build rapport quickly and effectively with key stakeholders
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Sound knowledge and experience of international shipping and inventory management
• A highly analytical mindset with a result oriented focus
• Advanced skills in MS Excel and MRP systems
• Qualifications in Supply Chain/Logistics and/or business related discipline preferred
