We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Inventory Analyst to manage our Spare Parts portfolio. This is a full time permanent position located in Braeside.
What does the role involve?
- Manage and coordinate the national inventory planning activities of the spare parts portfolio
- Conduct analytical forecasting activities, including variable sales, product trends etc
- Prepare reports relating to portfolio performance, variance forecasts and inventory stock targets
- Manage inventory, slow moving stock, quarantined items and obsolete stock
- Purchase spare parts from internal & external suppliers ensuring inventory replenishment to the warehouse is at appropriate stock levels
- Prepare shipping plans and forward purchase orders
- Work closely with the spare parts Product Manager and the Service Team to ensure adequate support to the After Sales Market
- Provide assistance and support to key stakeholders as required
- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders including Sales, Marketing and Warehouse
Who are we looking for?
- Proven experience in spare parts inventory management within warehousing/transport operations or a related field
- Strong organisational skills managing multiple and diverse tasks
- The ability to build rapport quickly and effectively with key stakeholders
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Sound knowledge and experience of international shipping and inventory management
- A highly analytical mindset with a result oriented focus
- Advanced skills in MS Excel and MRP systems
- Qualifications in Supply Chain/Logistics and/or business related discipline preferred
