B&N Glass & Aluminium, with over three decades of excellence in the glazing industry, invites an experienced and passionate Factory Supervisor to join our team. As a pivotal part of our operation in Central & Northern Queensland, this role is designed for a leader who thrives in a hands-on manufacturing environment. As our Factory Supervisor, your role will be far from the conventional oversight position. We are looking for someone who is as comfortable on the factory floor as they are managing the logistics and scheduling of our production line. This position requires a unique blend of leadership, technical skill, and a commitment to quality. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include planning and scheduling the production line to meet project timelines, ensuring the timely delivery of materials to installation sites, and actively participating in the assembly and glazing of commercial windows and door systems.

Your ability to read and understand job and cutting sheets will be crucial in organising work and materials efficiently. But more than that, we need a supervisor who is keen on monitoring, mentoring, and training team members, enhancing their skills and productivity. Your hands-on involvement in producing our high-quality products will not only set the standard for excellence but also foster a collaborative and productive team environment.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a proven track record in leadership within a manufacturing setting, preferably with experience in commercial window systems. While knowledge of CNC machine operations is desirable, it's your attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to communicate effectively that will set you apart. We value self-motivated individuals who demonstrate initiative, can manage tasks independently with minimal supervision, and are committed to meeting deadlines and solving problems. A trade qualification as a glazier, a current driver's license, and preferably a forklift license round out the requirements for this position.
