About the role

Council has an opening for an energetic staff member to work within our Waste Management Centre. The primary focus of this role is to provide efficient and effective service at Council's waste management centres.

• One Sunday per fortnight
• Hourly rate starts at $29.75 + superannuation + weekend loading (Grade 4 in accordance with Council's Salary System and the Local Government State Award)

This position will work 1 shift per fortnight on a Sunday between 9:45 to 4:15pm (6.5 hours) at Collector Transfer Station.

What you'll need

• WHS General Construction Induction (White) card.
• Demonstrated customer service skills including but not limited to providing information, explaining situations and collection and recording of fee.
• Proven ability to work productively as a member of a team and ability to work alone.
• Current class C Licence.
