About the role

Libraries today are much more than books. They're places where people learn, connect, create and belong.

As our Programs Facilitator - Library, you'll play a key role in bringing these experiences to life. Working within our Cultural Services team at Yarrila Place, you'll design, coordinate and deliver engaging programs, events and outreach initiatives that connect people of all ages with ideas, culture, creativity and community.

From author talks, workshops and school holiday activities to community partnerships and pop-up experiences, you'll help create a vibrant annual program that reflects the diverse interests of our community. You'll work closely with colleagues, community groups, educators, artists and external partners to develop innovative and inclusive experiences that support strategic cultural outcomes and strengthen community connections. You'll also contribute to program planning, evaluation, logistics, communication and stakeholder engagement to ensure every event is delivered safely, professionally and successfully.

About you

You're a creative and organised professional who thrives on bringing people together through meaningful programs and experiences. Whether your background is in libraries, arts and culture, community development, education, events or a related field, you understand how great programs can inspire participation, learning and connection.

You bring strong project and event coordination skills, a collaborative approach and the ability to build positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. You're equally comfortable generating new ideas, managing competing priorities and delivering high-quality outcomes. Most importantly, you're passionate about community engagement and creating welcoming, inclusive experiences that make a genuine difference in people's lives. Experience in program development, event delivery and stakeholder engagement, combined with strong communication and organisational skills, will set you up for success in this role.

• Competitive Salary commencing at $81,831 p/a dependent on qualifications and experience + plus 12% superannuation
