About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to step into a newly created leadership position within the Asset Services Section. As Team Leader Environmental Services, you will provide leadership, technical oversight and strategic direction for environmental and cultural heritage services that support the City's infrastructure program.

Working collaboratively across the organisation and with external stakeholders, you will champion best-practice environmental management, guide compliance and approvals processes, and play a key role in delivering projects that balance community needs with environmental stewardship. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact while helping shape the future direction of environmental services across the City.

About you

You are a qualified environmental professional with experience delivering environmental assessment and cultural heritage outcomes in an infrastructure, project delivery or similar environment. With proven leadership experience and a strong understanding of environmental and cultural heritage legislation, you provide practical advice, build strong stakeholder relationships and are passionate about delivering sustainable outcomes for the community.

• Competitive Salary (from $117,586.13 to 123.774,87 p/a) depending on your capabilities and experience + 12% superannuation
