About the Role

Due to planned staff leave, we are seeking applications from passionate, dynamic, and experienced Secondary Visual Arts Teachers for a 0.70 FTE fixed-term position spanning the 2027 academic year.

We are looking for an exemplary educator with a strong commitment to artistic excellence who can inspire junior and senior students alike. The ideal candidate will combine strong classroom leadership with deep technical expertise, with a strong preference for a ceramics specialist including wheel throwing, hand-building, glazing and kiln management, to deliver high-quality, engaging learning experiences within a vibrant Visual Arts faculty.

Essential Criteria

• Active teaching accreditation with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) (or eligibility for registration).

• Current NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) clearance.

• Tertiary qualifications in Visual Arts Education or Fine Arts with a strong ceramics

• Strong secondary school teaching experience.

• Demonstrated experience in collaborative curriculum planning, assessment design and syllabus implementation (including the new NESA 7-10 syllabus).

• Demonstrated experience in ceramics studio management, kiln safety and contemporary art practices.

• Alignment with and support for our schools Anglican ethos and values.
