About the role
Are you an experienced Water or Wastewater Treatment Operator looking for your next challenge? We are seeking a skilled Leading Hand Treatment professional to support the operation and maintenance of our water treatment plants, water reclamation plants and associated infrastructure across the local government area.
In this hands-on role, you'll apply your technical expertise to monitor and optimise treatment processes, interpret water quality and environmental compliance data, maintain treatment infrastructure, support dam and water supply operations and contribute to the safe and reliable delivery of essential services to our community. You'll also play an important role in mentoring team members, driving operational excellence and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

About you
You are an experienced water and/or wastewater treatment professional with a strong understanding of treatment operations, compliance and safety. You can confidently monitor plant performance, interpret operational data and respond to issues as they arise. You hold a current Class C Driver Licence and either possess, or are willing to obtain, a Certificate III in Water Industry Operations (Water or Wastewater Treatment). Experience with SCADA systems and relevant industry certifications will be highly regarded.

- Competitive Salary from $72,520.38 to 76,337.25 p/a depending on your capabilities and experience + allowances + 12% superannuation
- Permanent Full Time 38 hours per week
