About the role
The City of Coffs Harbour is seeking motivated and safety-focused Water & Wastewater (Water & Sewer) Attendants to join our Water & Waste Services team. In this role, you will assist with the operation, maintenance, repair, rehabilitation, inspection and minor construction of water and wastewater infrastructure, including water mains, reservoirs, pumping stations, sewer networks and associated assets. Working closely with supervisors, leading hands and operational teams, you'll help deliver reliable services to our community while maintaining high standards of safety, customer service and environmental responsibility.

About you
You will have practical experience in the construction, operation and/or maintenance of water, wastewater or similar infrastructure environments, together with a strong commitment to workplace safety. You possess effective communication and customer service skills, can work collaboratively within a team environment and are comfortable using mobile technology and computer systems to record and manage work activities. You hold a White Card, current Class C Driver Licence and relevant safety certifications, including Confined Space and Working at Heights qualifications. A willingness to participate in an on-call roster and work flexibly to meet operational requirements will also be highly valued.
