About the role
The City of Coffs Harbour is seeking enthusiastic and qualified Learn to Swim Instructors to join our Community Facilities team. Reporting to the Team Leader Pools, you will deliver high-quality swimming and water safety programs to students of all ages and abilities, helping participants develop confidence and essential life skills in the water. The role involves planning and delivering lessons, providing constructive feedback, maintaining accurate program records, and creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for all participants.

About you
You are a passionate and engaging swimming instructor who enjoys helping people achieve their goals in a safe and supportive environment. You hold a recognised Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety qualification, current CPR certification and a Working with Children Check. You have strong communication skills, can effectively manage swim classes, and demonstrate patience, inclusiveness and professionalism in your approach. You are committed to child safety, customer service excellence and continuous professional development.

- Competitive Salary (from $34 per hour) depending on your capabilities and experience + 25% casual loading + 12% superannuation
