About the role

The City of Coffs Harbour is seeking enthusiastic and safety-focused Pool Lifeguards to join our Community Facilities team on a casual basis. Reporting to the Team Leader Pools, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of patrons through vigilant pool supervision, aquatic rescues, first aid response, water quality testing, facility presentation and exceptional customer service. This role offers the opportunity to work across our aquatic facilities while contributing to a clean, safe and welcoming environment for the community

About you

You are a reliable and attentive team player with a genuine commitment to water safety and customer service. You hold a current Pool Lifeguard qualification (or equivalent), First Aid, CPR and Working with Children Check, and have the confidence to respond effectively in emergency situations. You possess strong communication skills, maintain excellent situational awareness and can work independently while contributing positively to a team environment. Previous experience in customer-facing roles and aquatic facility operations will be highly regarded.
