Accounts Receivable Officer

At Rinnai Australia, we're proud to be a market leader in hot water, heating, cooling and renewable energy solutions for residential and commercial markets across Australia.

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Finance team on a full-time, 12-month contract, with strong potential for extension or permanency for the right candidate.

About the Role
As part of our Accounts Receivable team, you will play a key role in managing customer accounts and supporting positive cash flow outcomes while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage overdue customer accounts to ensure timely payment collection
  • Ensure debtor credit terms and limits are maintained in line with company policies
  • Perform debtor reconciliations and assist with credit reporting activities
  • Respond to and resolve customer account enquiries efficiently
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve payment disputes and account issues

About You
You are proactive, organised, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. You bring strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in finance and accounting.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in Accounts Receivable, credit control, or a similar finance role
  • Sound understanding of accounting and finance principles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of risk management and credit processes
  • A motivated, self-driven approach with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and maintain a customer-focused mindset
  • Qualification or ongoing studies in Finance, Accounting or a related field will be highly regarded
