About the role
The Support Services Manager is responsible for day-to-day leadership and coordination of Malmsbury Youth Justice Precinct's allied health team and support functions. The role is responsible for service delivery and compliance, provides operational oversight, collaborates with key internal and external stakeholders and ensures that young people in custody receive timely and appropriate medical care.

Your duties include:

  • Provide effective, supportive leadership to allied health team, youth and health workers, and support roles including coaching, feedback, and development
  • Collaborate with Youth Justice to coordinate and deliver healthcare services that meet the needs of young people in custody
  • Maintain high standards of service delivery by overseeing service delivery, reporting, compliance, and safety

Our ideal candidate:

  • Qualifications in health, allied health, community services, Health Service Management or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience in a clinical or leadership role within a health, custodial, or community setting, and strong understanding of the primary health and custodial sectors
  • Experience in assessing and interpreting clinical data or clinical project development
  • Looking for Monday-Friday roster
  • Strong belief and personal alignment in cohealth Values and Mission
