About the role
As a Mechanical Craftsman, you'll support the installation, maintenance and repair of mechanical plant and equipment across Council's water and wastewater assets. You'll work on pumps, valves, pipework and treatment equipment, helping ensure reliable service delivery for the community. The role also involves fault finding, responding to breakdowns and participating in an on-call roster.

About you
You hold a relevant mechanical trade qualification (e.g. Fitter/Machinist/Mechanic) and bring proven experience in maintenance fitting, fabrication and/or welding. You're a practical problem-solver with strong safety awareness, able to work both independently and as part of a team using modern tools and systems.

- Competitive Salary (from $65k pa) depending on your capabilities and experience + allowances + 12% superannuation
- Permanent Full Time 38 hours per week
- Base location at Marcia Street Depot, Coffs Harbour with work across various sites
