Downunder Farmstays is looking for a passionate and proactive Tour Manager to help coordinate unforgettable Farmstay experiences across the beautiful Atherton Tablelands in Far North Queensland.

This flexible role is primarily work from home, combined with local travel to visit host families, coordinate guest movements, and maintain strong relationships within the community. We're open to either:

• Casual employment (20-30 hours per week average), or
• Permanent part-time employment (approximately 20 hours per week with additional hours)

About the role

You'll play a key part in creating welcoming, safe, and memorable experiences for visiting groups by:

• Coordinating arrivals, departures, and local logistics
• Building relationships with local host farms and families
• Recruiting and supporting accommodation hosts
• Working closely with schools, coordinators, and tourism stakeholders
• Helping international and domestic guests feel supported throughout their stay

What We're Looking For

You may come from tourism, hospitality, events, education support, farming communities, administration, or customer service, what matters most is your ability to connect with people and stay organised.

We're looking for someone who:

• Lives locally within the Atherton Tablelands area or within 1hr commute
• Is seeking a long-term opportunity
• Has strong communication and relationship building skills
• Can work independently and manage competing priorities
• Brings initiative, flexibility, and a calm approach to problem solving
• Enjoys being active within local communities

While qualifications in Tourism or Business are welcomed, they are not essential if you can demonstrate relevant experience and capability. Please note this position isn't suitable for Working Holiday Visas, you must be an Australian/ New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident.
