The Role
As a Technical Sales Engineer, you'll use your machining and engineering knowledge to help customers find the right solutions for their projects. Working closely with both clients and our internal production team, you'll manage projects from initial enquiry through to final delivery.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem solving, building relationships, and being involved in the bigger picture of engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Respond to technical enquiries and provide tailored solutions
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to prepare quotations
- Coordinate materials and supplier requirements
- Work alongside production teams to manage project schedules
- Monitor project progress and ensure successful delivery
- Provide ongoing technical support throughout the project lifecycle
What We're Looking For
- Trade qualification (Cert III Engineering) or Mechanical Engineering qualification
- Experience within a machining or CNC manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and technical drawings
- Confident communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive attitude with strong problem-solving ability
- Commercial awareness and the ability to manage multiple priorities
