Sports Development Coordinator

Coffs Harbour City Council

About the role

We're looking for a passionate and strategic Sports Development Coordinator to help shape the future of sport across our City.

In this dynamic role, you'll lead the planning and development of sporting facilities, drive key strategies, and work closely with community and industry partners to deliver high-quality outcomes. You'll play a pivotal role in growing participation, supporting local clubs, and ensuring our sporting infrastructure meets the needs of a thriving and active community.

About you

You're someone who genuinely cares about the role sport and recreation plays in building strong, connected communities. You bring a natural ability to plan and think strategically, paired with strong relationship skills that help you engage and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders. Most importantly, you thrive on turning ideas into meaningful, sustainable outcomes that encourage participation, support growth, and enhance community wellbeing.

What's on offer?

  • Competitive Salary from around $92K - $100K, depending on your capabilities and experience + 12% superannuation
  • Permanent Full Time 35 hours per week
