Reporting to the Inventory Analyst Team Leader, this new position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring high-quality data integrity across inventory, supply chain, and related systems. This role supports inventory optimisation and operational efficiency through precise data management, reporting, and administrative support.
What You'll Be Doing
- Process inventory transactions including transfers and conversions
- Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to resolve inventory issues
- Support & ensure accurate record keeping of stocktakes, SLOB stock, Shopsoil and Scrap requests
- Investigate and report inventory discrepancies and variances
- Ensure inventory & product master data is accurate, complete, and up to date
- Maintain accurate inventory records across ERP, WMS, or inventory management systems
- Maintain and validate data accuracy across inventory and related datasets
- Prepare regular inventory, stock movement, and performance reports
- Ensure compliance with internal data governance and audit requirements
- Support system updates, testing, and data uploads
- Assist with standard operating procedure (SOP) documentation and updates
- Ensure consistent application of inventory and data processes
- Liaise with warehouse, procurement, finance, and planning teams
- Respond to inventory and data-related queries in a timely manner
- Support internal and external audit requests as required
What You'll Bring
- Previous experience in inventory administration, data administration, or supply chain support
- Strong attention to detail and high level of data accuracy
- Experience working with ERP or inventory management systems (e.g. Oracle JDE E1 preferred)
- Strong Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Qualifications in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Data Management or a similar discipline
