About the role
We're seeking a skilled Tradesman - Building Maintenance to join our Transport and Open Space Services Group. This hands-on role is responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of City buildings and associated facilities, ensuring they remain safe, functional and fit for purpose.
While the role covers general building maintenance (including carpentry and minor electrical tasks), plumbing expertise is a key focus, and applicants with a plumbing background are strongly encouraged to apply.
You'll work across a variety of indoor and outdoor environments, supporting essential community infrastructure such as public amenities, depots and facilities used by residents and visitors alike.

About you
We're looking for a skilled tradesman with the following -
- Trade qualification
- Demonstrated experience in building maintenance (domestic and/or commercial)
- Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- Current Class C Driver Licence
