CDC Construction Group has been delivering residential, commercial and childcare builds across Melbourne for over 35 years. We're a tight, loyal team with a reputation for quality work, on‑time delivery and a culture built on respect, honesty and backing our people.

With several turnkey childcare projects underway, we're looking for a dynamic Site Manager to take charge of 2-3 sites and keep momentum moving.

The Role

You'll run your sites day‑to‑day, coordinating trades, keeping schedules tight and ensuring each build hits time, budget and quality targets. You'll be out on the road around Melbourne Monday to Friday, checking in at our Airport West office 2-3 times a week.

On a typical day you'll be:

• Leading and coordinating subcontractors
• Managing deliveries and materials
• Running site meetings and liaising with authorities
• Overseeing OH&S and maintaining a safe, compliant site
• Scheduling works and providing accurate forecasts
• Estimating materials and keeping the site organised and on track

About You

You're ambitious, organised and ready for a step up. You've spent time on building sites, can read plans confidently and know how to keep trades moving without drama. You're proactive, practical and comfortable taking charge when needed.

You bring:

• Trade skills and experience on construction sites
• Ability to read and interpret plans
• Solid computer skills (emails, spreadsheets, basic systems)
• Strong problem‑solving and time‑management
• A steady, fair approach to driving subcontractor performance
• Attention to detail and pride in running a clean, safe site

You communicate well, you're reliable, and you want to be part of a team that values quality work and long‑term relationships.
