Grants Administration Officer

Coffs Harbour City Council

About the role

As the Grants Administration Officer, you will support the coordination, administration and monitoring of grant funding and the City's Environmental Levy Program to ensure compliance with legislative, financial and reporting requirements. You will work closely with internal teams, community groups and funding bodies to track budgets, milestones and acquittals, contributing to strong governance and successful funding outcomes. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data and systems, has excellent communication skills and is passionate about continuous improvement and community benefit.

About you

You are a qualified finance professional with a degree in accounting or a related field and experience in accounting or financial management roles. You have a strong ability to interpret legislation, funding agreements and organisational policies, and to monitor, reconcile and report on budgets and grant funding. You are a clear and confident written communicator, proficient in Microsoft Office, and committed to delivering high quality customer service. You build effective relationships with a range of stakeholders and can work both independently and as part of a team. Experience in local government and TechnologyOne is desirable.
