About the role

We are seeking friendly, motivated Library Assistants to help deliver outstanding library services across Coffs Harbour's vibrant library network, including Harry Bailey Memorial Library, Toormina, and Woolgoolga, as well as supporting cultural activities at Yarrila Place This varied role involves managing library circulation tasks, helping customers with enquiries and technology, planning and delivering engaging programs and events, and supporting welcoming, inclusive, and accessible spaces for everyone in the community

About you

We're looking for people who:

  • Deliver friendly, professional customer service with a positive and approachable attitude
  • Communicate clearly and work effectively as part of a team
  • Have strong technical skills and enjoy helping others use technology
  • Are flexible and willing to work across multiple library locations on a 7-day roster
  • Show initiative and are keen to support library programs, events, and outreach
  • Ideally have experience in libraries, cultural facilities, or community-focused environments

What's on offer?

  • 1 x Permanent Full-Time Position
    • 35 hours per week
    • Competitive salary of around $66,494.97 (dependent on skills and experience)
    • 12% superannuation

  • Multiple Casual Positions
    • $36.54 per hour + 25% casual loading + 12% Superannuation
  • Opportunity to be considered for future permanent full-time, part-time, casual roles
