About the role
As a Truck Driver, you'll be part of a skilled Transport Services team delivering construction, maintenance and traffic facility services across the Coffs Harbour LGA.
This is a varied, hands-on role that combines driving, plant operation and civil maintenance work. You'll be the principal driver of the heavy patching plant Truck, assist with heavy patching, and jet patching maintenance, and support broader roads and drainage works as required.
You'll work outdoors in a dynamic environment, follow WHS and traffic management requirements, use mobile technology for work allocation and reporting, and contribute to safe, efficient and customer-focused service delivery.

About you
You are a reliable and safety-focused truck driver with experience in civil construction or maintenance environments. You take pride in your work, enjoy working outdoors as part of a team, and understand the importance of professionalism when operating in public spaces.
You're adaptable, can work with minimal supervision, and bring a practical, hands-on approach to maintaining Council infrastructure and assets to a high standard.
Essential qualifications and experience
- Certificate III in Civil Construction or equivalent
- Current Heavy Rigid (HR) Drivers Licence
- Relevant experience in civil construction or road maintenance activities.
- National Construction Induction Certificate (White card).
