Work Health & Safety Administration Officer (Part-Time)

- Hourly rate: $43.30 plus superannuation
- 12 Months Max-term Contract
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Work Health & Safety (WHS) Administration Officer to support the City's WHS team.
This is a part-time role providing essential administrative and operational support to strengthen safety governance, systems and reporting across the organisation.
About the Role
As the WHS Administration Officer, you will support the implementation of the City's Safety Governance Framework. This includes assisting with consultation, engagement, assurance and reporting activities that promote a strong safety culture and accountability. You will also play a key role in maintaining the City's MyOSH Safety system and supporting day-to-day WHS operations.
Key responsibilities
- Supporting WHS governance activities including consultation, engagement and assurance processes
- Assisting with the coordination and preparation of WHS reports and documentation
- Monitoring, maintaining and updating records within the MyOSH Safety system
- Providing administrative support to WHS initiatives, programs and compliance activities
- Assisting with data collection and analysis to support continuous improvement
- Contributing to a positive and proactive safety culture across the organisation
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with high attention to detail
- The ability to manage data, systems and reporting requirements accurately
- Well-developed communication skills and the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders
- A proactive and collaborative approach to work
- Experience in administration, ideally within a WHS or compliance environment
- Familiarity with safety management systems (such as MyOSH) is desirable
