About the role
This position sits within the AOD Outreach cluster and is responsible for driving the team to deliver impactful service, ensuring the team is accountable for their objectives. The Specialist Team Support works regular shifts each week as a Dispatch worker within the Public Intoxication Response team which operates 24/7.
This is an onsite position and requires regular after-hours and weekend work on a rotational roster.
At times, this role may be the most senior staff member onsite and will have leadership responsibilities for the operations of the service.

Your duties include:
- Responsible for the day-to-day provision of excellent service delivery of Public Intoxication Response Dispatch
- Participate in Dispatch operations including taking calls from Centralised Services - Intake Referral & Dispatch
- Implement and maintain the operations manual to support the practices and day-to-day responsibility of PIR dispatch
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of electronic data which is critical to the smooth operation of the service
