We're searching for a talented Process Engineer to be a part of a team delivering and supporting modern water and wastewater treatment plant operations, incorporating contemporary process technology, automation and data‑driven optimisation. With a strong pipeline of future upgrades and infrastructure improvements, this role offers the opportunity to help shape next‑generation treatment facilities that respond to growth, climate challenges and evolving regulatory expectations.
About the role
In this dynamic role, you will:
- Optimise water and wastewater treatment processes to improve compliance, reliability, chemical efficiency and plant performance across multiple treatment facilities.
- Provide technical expertise across treatment operations, water quality, chemical dosing and recycled water systems.
- Support treatment process performance through telemetry, PLC and SCADA systems, working collaboratively with electrical and automation specialists.
- Contribute to regulatory reporting and assist in delivering capital upgrades and improvement projects.
This role offers a balance of technical problem‑solving, fieldwork, system optimisation and cross‑team collaboration.

About you
We're looking for someone with:
- A Degree in Chemical, Environmental or related Engineering
- Experience in water/wastewater treatment operations
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to deliver practical, high‑quality solutions
- Excellent communication and ability to prepare clear technical reports.

- Competitive salary from around $114K - $120K (including allowances), depending on your capabilities and experience + 12% superannuation
