We are seeking an experienced and community-minded Manager - Health & Wellbeing/Indigenous Knowledge Centre to lead the successful delivery of health programs and Indigenous Knowledge Centre services across the Torres Strait Region.
About the Role
This position ensures the successful implementation of integrated health and wellbeing programs and the effective delivery of Indigenous Knowledge Centre services. You will build and maintain strong partnerships both internal and external to improve physical, social and emotional wellbeing outcomes for communities across the region.
You will operate in alignment with organisational policies, funding guidelines, and our mission and vision demonstrating leadership grounded in respect, cultural integrity and service excellence.
About You
You are a values driven leader with:
- Experience managing health, wellbeing or community service programs.
- Strong partnership-building and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Financial and project management capability.
- The ability to communicate clearly and culturally appropriately.
- A commitment to improving outcomes for Torres Strait communities.
- The role is located in the Torres Strait. Knowledge of Torres Strait languages, including Meriam Mer, Kala Lagaw Ya, and Creole, is desirable.

- Fixed Term until 30.6.2028

Regular travel to the Torres Strait Islands is a requirement of this position.
