About the role
The Work Health and Safety (WHS) Business Partner plays a key role in the review, implementation and continuous improvement of the City's WHS systems while supporting injury, RTW and workers' compensation processes. It partners closely with leaders to strengthen safety culture, drive wellbeing initiatives, deliver clear WHS communication, and conduct incident investigations, audits and site inspections to support ongoing safety performance and improvement.
About you
As a strong candidate, you will bring relevant tertiary qualifications, hands‑on experience in WHS, wellbeing or injury management, and the capability to develop, implement and improve safety systems across a diverse organisation. You will be skilled in incident investigation, injury management and return‑to‑work processes, supported by strong analytical, communication and stakeholder‑engagement abilities. Success in the role also calls for confident facilitation, solid digital skills and the organisational discipline to manage competing priorities effectively.
