Reporting to the ANZ HR Manager, you'll partner closely with leaders and provide hands-on generalist support across the employee lifecycle, including:
- Provide operational HR advice across employee relations, performance management, investigations support, and workplace behaviours
- Coach leaders and employees on respectful workplace communication and conduct HR related policy and processes in a practical and relatable way
- Navigate and apply a global policy and procedure framework, ensuring fair, consistent outcomes
- Support recruitment, onboarding, engagement and retention initiatives
- Be willing to roll up your sleeves, this is an operational role and includes support with HR administration to keep things moving
The person we're looking for: a Diplomat
You're calm, confident, and persuasive not because you're loud, but because you're credible. You can hold a room, read the audience, and deliver messages that land and deliver outcomes.
What you'll bring
- Tertiary qualification in HR, Employment Relations, or similar
- 5+ years' recent experience in a similar operational HR generalist / HRBP role
- Experience in a large, complex organisation (multi-site, national or international) with established policies, procedures, governance and stakeholder layers
- Solid working knowledge of employee relations, performance management and industrial instruments/awards
- Confidence delivering training/toolboxes/coaching sessions to groups
- Strong HR systems capability (HCM/HRIS) and a process-improvement mindset
- Practical, hands-on approach with high emotional intelligence
