About the Role
As State Sales Manager, you'll lead a team of 8-10 motivated sales professionals. Your primary responsibility will be to coach, mentor, and inspire the team to exceed sales targets while fostering a positive, performance-driven culture. The position reports to the National Sales Manager in our Sydney Head Office.
This role requires more than just management - it demands hands-on leadership, strategic direction, and a deep understanding of what makes a sales team thrive. You'll work closely with senior leadership in our head office located in Sydney to develop local strategies, identify growth opportunities, and ensure our team continues to deliver the exceptional service our clients expect.
We're looking for someone who leads by example, understands how to drive results through people, and brings the confidence and energy to guide a successful team into its next phase of growth.
What We're Looking For

- An exceptional track record of success managing and growing sales teams.
- The ability to set and achieve ambitious sales goals.
- A genuine passion for mentoring and developing others.
- Excellent communication and strategic thinking skills.
- Industry experience (stone, building materials, trade or construction) is highly regarded, but your leadership ability and commercial drive are what will truly set you apart.
