Building a better Bunbury
We have an exciting opportunity for a Waste Services Operator to be a part of our highly experienced waste operations team. This is a casual position with varying rosters. Your safety is important to the City so active participation in daily planning and safety discussions will see you carrying out our waste collection and litter removal programs with success.
Could this be the career move you are looking for?
You will have previous experience in the operation of rear loading or side loading waste collection vehicles and advanced skills in the daily maintenance of plant and machinery.
As well as these skills, you will ideally have the following:
- A Heavy Rigid driver's licence
- Satisfactory National Police Clearance (under 12 months)
- The commitment to proving a high level of customer service to the Bunbury Community
- Ability to work collaboratively and safely in a team environment
What we offer you
In exchange for your hard work, you'll be well rewarded with a competitive casual hourly rate of $47.53.

- Option to salary sacrifice additional Superannuation (contribute up to 5% of your salary and the City will match your contribution up to an additional 5%)
