About the role
The Exercise Physiologist will work in close collaboration with our team of Physiotherapists and Allied Health Assistants (AHAs) to deliver a consistent program of physical activity across cohealth. The cohealth Exercise Physiologist will work with clients in individual assessment and exercise prescription and in group sessions.
This position will be based across our Kensington, Niddrie and Glenroy sites, dependent on service demand and staffing requirements.

Your duties include:
- Provide high quality Exercise Physiology service to clients and groups of clients in accordance with agreed targets and funding streams.
- Provide a high quality and flexible Exercise Physiology service to clients from marginalised backgrounds.
- Provide a welcoming environment where the consumers can inquire and learn about a range of health-related matters and engage in self-management.
- Participate in multidisciplinary coordinated care activities to meet the needs of the target group.

Our ideal candidate:
- Accredited as an Exercise Physiologist with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA).
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience as an Exercise Physiologist
- Experience in a community health setting highly desirable
All appointments are made subject to a satisfactory Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC), a Working with Children Check (WWCC), complete a Pre-Employment Declaration Form, evidence of legal rights to work in Australia, and evidence of vaccination.
Successful applicants will be required to provide evidence of immunisation assessment including Influenza within 12 weeks of commencement [B]. This is in accordance with the Victorian Minister of Health Mandatory Vaccination Orders and legislated requirement for influenza vaccination.
