About the role

The Practice Excellence Coach (Physio/EP) provides clinical leadership to Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists, driving skill development, practice improvement, and service efficiency. This role enhances client outcomes by strengthening discipline-specific capability and leading quality improvement and clinical governance initiatives. The PEC focuses on delivering exceptional client experiences while attracting and retaining top talent to ensure effective, efficient service delivery.

A portion (0.6EFT) of this role will be dedicated to coaching with the remainder (0.4) apportioned to clinical work. There are no direct line management responsibilities with this position. This position works across multiple locations in the inner north and west where Physiotherapists/Exercise Physiologists are based.

Your duties include:

  • Facilitating communities of practice, clinical supervision, reflective practice and workplace coaching interventions, in accordance with cohealth's supervision Policy.
  • Supporting evidence-based practice.
  • Adopting adult learning strategies to support discipline wide development skills and service delivery.
  • Engaging external expertise to build internal best practice capability, where discipline wide need arises
  • Guide the Physio/EP team, ensuring team members meet their personal and team objectives effectively.

Our ideal candidate:

  • Minimum 5 Years clinical experience in Physiotherapy
  • Bachelor of Physiotherapy
  • Current AHPRA Registration
  • Working with Children's Check (WWCC)
  • Suitable to work with older people
  • Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC)

All appointments are made subject to a satisfactory Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC), a Working with Children Check (WWCC), complete a Pre-Employment Declaration Form, evidence of legal rights to work in Australia, and evidence of vaccination.

Successful applicants will be required to provide evidence of immunisation assessment including Influenza within 12 weeks of commencement [B]. This is in accordance with the Victorian Minister of Health Mandatory Vaccination Orders and legislated requirement for influenza vaccination.
