Admin Officer

Anglicare is inviting Expressions of Interest for the Retirement Villages Administration Officer to join our Retirement Living team in Canberra. This pivotal role ensures the smooth operation of our villages by delivering high-quality administrative support, coordinating contractors, and engaging with residents to foster safe, welcoming, and well-maintained communities.

About the Role

As the Administration Officer, you will:

  • Coordinate and record repairs and maintenance requests, including contractor engagement and compliance checks.
  • Maintain accurate registers and records for maintenance, sales, inspections, and accreditation.
  • Support marketing of vacant units and assist with ingoing/outgoing inspections.
  • Liaise with residents, staff, and contractors to ensure timely communication and service delivery.
  • Assist with accreditation processes and continuous improvement initiatives across three villages.

This role is based across our Retirement Villages in Red Hill and Downer, working Tuesday to Friday.

About You

We're looking for someone who brings:

  • Certificate III in Business Administration or similar
  • Relevant experience in administration or customer service within community services, property, or related fields.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
  • High computer literacy (Microsoft Office applications).
