RAMP Program Practitioner

Part time position 0.8FTE ongoing role

Your new role

  • Maintain strong local support, actively promote the RAMP program, and coordinate engagement strategies with key stakeholders, young people, and the community.
  • Recruit, train, screen, and support volunteers; understand young people's needs; coordinate mentor-mentee matching (30 matches) and facilitate activities/events to support matching and ongoing relationships.
  • Provide outreach and one-to-one support to up to 20 young people, including goal development, capacity building, risk assessments, safety plans, and maintaining timely case notes.
  • Prepare program reports and coordinate collection of qualitative and quantitative data for evaluation and contractual requirements.

About you

  • You will have extensive experience working within the Community and Youth Sector.
  • Understand a young people's interests and needs from a mentoring program.
  • You will understand the Out of Home Care System and will recognise trauma as a common experience for young people in out of home care.
  • Demonstrated capability to network and build productive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
