About us

For over 25 years, Mental Health Australia has advocated for mental health reform, and we continue to drive policy changes and proactively put mental health on the agenda.

We have over 150 members, including service providers, professional bodies, organisations representing people with mental health challenges, family, carers and kin, researchers and state and territory mental health peak bodies.

As the national peak body for the mental health sector, we unite our members to present a cohesive voice to government and provide practical solutions to influence decision-making and policy outcomes. Ultimately, our advocacy drives improvements in the mental health system to deliver better mental health outcomes for the Australian community.

The role

This role will also be responsible for providing community organisations and other project partners with advice and support to ensure equitable, participatory processes are delivered.

For full details, please see the position description.

This is a unique opportunity to become involved with a national peak body that unites and uplifts the capacity and capability of the mental health sector, and advocates for policies that improve mental health, while working closely with one of Australia's leading health providers.
