Marketing Officer - Wardandi Wanil Arts Centre - Part time
- Parttime position (45.6hrs per fortnight)
- $47.06 hourly + Superannuation
- 24-Month contract
- Matched superannuation contributions up to 5%
The City of Bunbury is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Marketing Officer to help shape and share the story of the Wardandi Wanil Arts Centre, a dynamic, inclusive and sustainable space celebrating First Nations culture, creativity, and community.
In this newly created part-time position, you will develop and deliver creative, and culturally informed marketing campaigns to promote exhibitions, programs, and events at the Centre.
Working closely with the Marketing and Brand team and the Reconciliation and Community Partnerships team, your work will elevate the profile of the Centre and ensure alignment with brand values.
You'll bring your writing, content creation and digital marketing skills to engage local, regional and national audiences - and have the opportunity to produce compelling visual content and storytelling through multiple platforms, including video and graphic design.
The successful candidate will:
- Be a strong communicator and creative content creator.
- Have a passion for community storytelling.
- Possess qualifications or experience in marketing or a related field.
- Have experience with digital and traditional content development, copywriting and graphic design.
- Demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Be culturally aware and willing to engage with and promote Noongar-led narratives.
Experience working with Aboriginal communities or in arts/cultural organisations will be highly regarded.
This position is offered at 0.6 FTE (45.6 hours per fortnight) on a 24-month term contract.
