Casual Dance Teacher

The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Casual Dance Teacher to join our Performing Arts team. The successful applicant will deliver engaging and high-quality dance classes to students across various year levels.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Teaching contemporary and jazz dance styles.
  • Planning and delivering dynamic lessons that foster creativity and skill development.
  • Supporting students in performance opportunities and school productions.
  • Working collaboratively with the Performing Arts team to enhance the dance program.

Knowledge, skill and qualification requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in teaching contemporary and jazz dance.
  • Ability to inspire and engage students of varying skill levels.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • A valid Working with Children Check or VIT registration.
  • Commitment to child safety and wellbeing.
