Cafe Attendant - South West Sport Centre

  • Competitive Salary: Level 1 $22.06 - $31.57 per hour + 12% superannuation
  • Permanent Part Time (30 Hours per fortnight)
  • Matched Super contributions up to 5%

Are you passionate about delivering excellent customer service in a cafe environment? If so, this could be the role for you!

The City of Bunbury are seeking a friendly, professional, and motivated Cafe Attendant to join our team at the South West Sport Centre. In this role, you will be responsible for operating our on-site cafe, providing a warm welcome and ensuring our customers have a positive experience.

This is a part-time position, working 30 hours per fortnight. The hours will vary, with shifts ranging from early mornings that consist of a 6am starting time, to evenings that consist of a 7:45pm finish time, and also including weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, snacks, and light meals
  • Greet and assist customers in a courteous and helpful manner, both in person and over the counter
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the cafe area
  • Handle cash and card transactions efficiently and accurately
  • Liaise with other team members to ensure smooth cafe operations
  • Contribute to the overall success and positive customer experience at the South West Sport Centre

About You:

  • Experience in a customer-facing cafe or hospitality role beneficial
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
  • Proficient in using Point of Sale (POS) systems
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate evenings and weekends
