About the role
Join the Brimbank Local service as part of a multidisciplinary team at the Wyndham site, providing high-quality mental health treatment, care, and support to individuals aged 26+ with complex mental health needs. This role involves psychological assessment, goal-directed care planning, and group and individual treatment, as well as case reviews and coordination with external service providers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Deliver group and individual treatment within the Wyndham Local Adult and Older Adult Mental Health and Wellbeing Service
  • Conduct psychological assessments and create goal-directed care plans in collaboration with the team
  • Participate in case reviews and contribute to treatment plans and pathways
  • Make appropriate referrals to external services
  • Liaise with partner organisations and stakeholders as needed

Our ideal candidate:

  • Full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • At least 2 years of professional experience as a psychologist in a clinical setting as a Grade 2
  • Experience facilitating groups and working effectively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication skills with clients, families, colleagues, and stakeholders
  • Victorian Driver's License
