About the role
The Grade 3 Psychologist provides senior clinical leadership and complex psychological care within the West Mental Health and Wellbeing Local network. You will offer expert psychological assessment, formulation, and evidence-based interventions for individuals with mental health challenges while providing clinical supervision and professional development to enhance team capability.

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide expert psychological assessments and provide evidence-based interventions for adults with complex mental health needs
• Deliver evidence-based interventions including individual therapy, group programs, and brief interventions consistent with recovery-oriented and trauma-informed principles
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and collaborate on safety planning with consumers, carers, and multidisciplinary teams
• Support seamless referral and shared-care pathways between Local, Area Mental Health Services, and community providers

Our ideal candidate:

• Full registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA
• Endorsement in Clinical, Counselling, or Health Psychology (or eligibility to obtain)
• Approved AHPRA supervisor status for provisional or registered psychologists
• At least 3 years of professional experience as a Grade 3 Psychologist
• Victorian Driver's License.
