Help strengthen community resilience and Council's readiness for emergencies. We're recruiting an Emergency Management Officer to support planning, preparedness, relief and recovery across the Shire.
In this role you'll help maintain and implement the Municipal Emergency Management Plan and related sub-plans, coordinate with emergency services and regional partners, and improve Council systems and procedures to meet legislative requirements.
You'll also engage with community groups, identify grant opportunities, and support training and operational readiness during emergency events.
About you
You will bring relevant qualifications and experience in emergency management, planning or community engagement, well-developed communication and coordination skills, and the ability to juggle competing priorities.
A current Victorian Driver's Licence is required. Pre-employment checks include a Working with Children Check and a National Police Check will be required before commencement
