We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Natural Environment Officer to join our environment and sustainability team.

Using your exceptional native bushland management skills, you will be responsible for tasks such as re-vegetation, weed control and pest control within approximately 200 hectares of bushland. Coordination, implementation, monitoring, and continual improvement of our environmental programmes will see you thrive in this position.

Liaising closely with local community and ‘Friends Of' groups as well as planning and implementing community events and educational programmes will see you making a real impact within our community.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to support the wider team in a wide variety of environmental aspects including coastal, climate, sustainability, and legislative actions.

It goes without saying, you will be a go getter that loves a challenge, has outstanding communication skills and enjoys problem solving in a practical sense.

What we offer you

Conditions of employment are in accordance with the City of Bunbury Employee's 2024 Enterprise Agreement with Level 5 or Level 6 salary of $92,990 or $101,013 gross per annum depending on qualifications and experience.
