The Opportunity

Our Creative Communities team is looking for an inspiring and community-minded Branch Team Leader to join our leadership team. About You

We're looking for someone who brings:

  • Tertiary qualifications (or working toward) in librarianship, information management or a related field, with eligibility for ALIA associate membership.
  • Proven experience leading, motivating, and coaching a team in a busy customer service environment.
  • Strong ability to adapt service-wide strategies to meet the needs of the local community.
  • A talent for building partnerships and working collaboratively with Council, co-located services, and the wider community.
  • Confidence with collections, digital tools, and online resources to provide outstanding information services and reader support.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities.
  • Current Victorian driver's license.
  • Current Working with Children Card
  • No relevant criminal record found in a police check.
