About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, engaging, and suitably qualified Drama Teacher to join our team. This is a part-time (FTE = 0.7), fixed-term position, with a strong possibility of becoming permanent. The role will commence in Term 3, starting 21 July, and continue through to the end of the year.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to best practices in teaching and a goal-oriented and evidence-based approach to improving student learning outcomes. We are looking for an individual who exhibits a learning disposition in relation to all aspects of this position, striving for continuous improvement in addition to bringing the required skills and experience.

What we're looking for:

  • Experience working in a similar position.
  • Teaching experience with Years 7-10 is highly essential.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills including a demonstrated ability to support and interact with a range of stakeholders including students, parents, staff, and the wider school community.
  • Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team with a high level of professionalism.
  • Competent in the use of Information Communication Technology.
  • Supportive of the values and teachings of the Christian tradition.
