About the role

We have an opportunity for an experienced, engaging and suitably qualified Speech Pathologist to join our team. This will be a part-time (FTE = 0.5), ongoing role, commencing in Term 3, 21 July 2025.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to best practices in teaching and a goal-oriented and evidence-based approach to improving student learning outcomes. We are looking for an individual who exhibits a learning disposition in relation to all aspects of this position, striving for continuous improvement in addition to bringing the required skills and experience.

What we're looking for:

  • Experience/interest in supporting deaf/hard of hearing students within a mainstream school setting.
  • A knowledge and experience with delivering evidence-based intervention.
  • Sound experience administering and interpreting standardised testing.
  • Sound experience using data to determine levels of intervention for a range of programs including early literacy programs and reading comprehension.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills including a demonstrated ability to consult, collaborate and negotiate with staff, students and parents/guardians.
