About the role

Central Goldfields Shire Council is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join our Executive Team as the General Manager Corporate Performance. This pivotal role will oversee the delivery of high-quality corporate support services driving strong governance, financial sustainability, and operational excellence across the organisation. With the recent appointment of a new Chief Executive Officer, we are also looking to enhance our Executive Team with new energy and a focus on financial sustainability and business innovation.

Leading a diverse portfolio including Finance, Governance, Risk & Property, People & Culture, IT & Business Transformation, and Customer Experience, Communications and Advocacy, the General Manager will champion innovation and service efficiency.

As a key advisor to Council, this role plays a critical part in shaping our strategic and financial direction, enhancing organisational culture, and strengthening community and stakeholder relationships.
