This is a great opportunity to join our Youth & Early Years Team working to improve the lives of young people in Horsham Rural City Council.

About the Role

This role oversees the facilitation and delivery of a range of youth initiatives in line with Horsham Rural City Council's Youth Strategy; Leads and supports the Youth team in their work; Manages the facilities, operations, activation and refurbishment of The Station on a day-to-day basis; champion the engagement and empowerment of young people in decision making for youth initiatives in our municipality; Deliver on existing funding initiatives in arts, culture, music and open doors for young people and give them the tools they need to make meaningful contributions and feel valued in their community.

About You

You're passionate about creating opportunities with young people, not just for them. You know how to build trust, spark ideas, and bring people together—and you're not afraid to roll up your sleeves and participate.

With experience in youth engagement and community development, and a relevant degree under your belt, you bring both heart and know-how to the role. You've got top-notch communication skills, a knack for listening, and the confidence to work across schools, community groups, and council spaces.

You understand what drives Horsham Rural City Council's Youth Strategy, and you get the bigger picture.
