We now have a great full time opportunity for an experienced Project / Contract Administrator who can manage invoicing, keep our office organised and support our 2 x Directors to do what they do best.

Because work/life balance is important, we also offer you the flexibility to work 1 day per day work from home (after probation). We are also flexible to negotiate start and finish times Monday - Friday if you have school pick up/drop off or other personal commitments.

The Role

In this vital role, you will take the lead in providing administration support to help our clients' dreams come true at all stages of each project. Your organisational skills will shine, as you keep an eye on each client job.

On a typical day, you will:

  • Manage contract documents, from working drawings to authority for variations
  • Assist with interior finishes & selections
  • Manage permits and take the lead with Councils
  • Liaise with clients
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable

This role will suit you if you enjoy building relationships as much as you relish having your files in order!

About you

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional and mature Administrator who enjoys the building industry and is now looking for less stress, a stable company and a long term role. You will enjoy it here if you're someone who is proactive, adaptable and looking for a role you can make your own.

To be successful, you'll bring:

  • 5+ years of office management and accounts experience
  • Experience in the building industry, ideally residential renovations/extensions
  • Demonstrated ability to manage contract and variation documentation
  • Confidence communicating with sub contractors, engineers and Councils.

It will be advantageous if you can use Databuild and read building plans, however that's not essential. What's most important is your ability to be efficient with a smile.
