Are you passionate about social justice and committed to empowering workers? The National Tertiary Education Union (NTEU) NT Division is looking for a driven and member-focused individual to join our team in Darwin.
Based at the Casuarina campus of Charles Darwin University, you'll be at the forefront of supporting and advocating for staff across universities, TAFE, research institutes, student unions, and community education. Whether you're providing industrial support, engaging members in campaigns, or participating in collective bargaining, your work will have a real impact.
What You'll Do:
- Support members with industrial matters efficiently and empathetically.
- Collaborate with members and the National Office on complex cases.
- Play a key role in collective bargaining efforts.
- Lead and complete organizing, campaign, and project-based tasks.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in industrial relations, organizing, recruitment, or campaigning, preferably in a union or social justice setting.
- A commitment to strengthening the trade union movement.
