The Opportunity
Council is seeking an experienced WHS professional to join our team and play a lead role in facilitating and fostering a proactive safety culture within our organisation.
What you'll need:
- Relevant qualifications in WHS coupled with solid contemporary experience in a WHS role
- Sound working knowledge of and demonstrated ability to interpret and apply WHS legislation and regulations
- Experience in incident investigation, risk assessment and safety auditing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster a positive safety culture
- Ability to analyse data, write reports and make recommendations to improve safety outcomes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other corporate software
- Current driver's licence
